This master of stealth similar in size to bobcats inhabits dense forests and shrublands, stretching from southern Texas to northern Argentina in South America.
As a nocturnal hunter, the solitary ocelot depends on its sharp vision and keen hearing to hunt rodents, snakes, fish, frogs, monkeys, and birds. It does not have teeth appropriate for chewing, so it tears the food to pieces and swallows it whole. The Obsidian Black finish contrasts strikingly with the wild cat’s lifelike eyes, creating an intense glowing effect.
