This car made history – one of the prototypes with a one Cylinder 8 PS motor was the first car which was used to drive from England/Coventry trough Western and Eastern Europe to Istanbul/Turkey. In 1906 the use of motorcars in the Turkey Kingdom was strictly forbidden caused by religious and political reasons. Therefore this car was the first one in Turkey as well. Such a journey in those days – no gas stations at all, no real roads – was a real adventure!
