To commemorate the Summer of Love of 1967 and 1968 and acting as a stark reminder in today’s turbulent times to not take peaceful times for granted, CIT presents two cheery coins showcasing the peace symbol decorated with bountiful floral elements. The silver coin is particularly strong in hippie symbolism by combining the peace symbol, flowers, and a color scheme reminiscent of the typical tie-dye style. The colorful tin collector’s box underlines the effect.
A smaller gold coin produced with Big Gold Minting BGM to increase the diameter to 13.92mm features a classic proof surface finish albeit with a similar entrancing design as its larger silver cousin.
