CIT presents 19 new coin issues at WMF premiering several new technologies and concepts. While the brilliant coins are sure to take the spotlight, WMF is the first public venue to display CIT’s new corporate design.
Among the batch of new releases are several that collector’s have come to expect at World Money Fair such as new issues for the Tiffany Art series, Shades of Nature and Wildlife Protection. The latter sees its penultimate issue released as the popular series will end in 2019.
However, a few new technologies and coin concepts are also expected and CIT’s pioneering spirit shows in a number of fabulous strikes such as the incredible three-dimensional Shakyamuni Buddha, Emperor Penguin and Silver Heart shapes.
A true little treasure is the Dreaming Boy – Lullaby coin with an adorable design, cut-out stars and a unique shape. The coin is presented in a musical box with a rotating pedestal in front of an oval mirror playing a lullaby.
Further technologies include beautiful red-rock finish on the Velociraptor coin that simulates a rock matrix and will surely reappear in future issues. Refined color applications valorize the joyful Dream Edition of the Exotic Butterflies series and the sinister Crystal Skull issue featuring an exquisite crystal. Inverted smartminting technology resulted in the unique Little Secrets coin. Finally, several traditional small gold coins complete the new portfolio.
